so i just moved, and i am now an hour away from the nearest rock gym or halfway decent outdoor climbing spot, but i don't want to completely lose my ability. I figure i can still make it to the gym about once a week, but what would be good to keep up on climbing in the mean time?

I suspect everyone will say the same thing.

If you have the means, get a (in order of preference)

1. Home wall w/campus board

2. campus board w/hang board

3. campus board

4. hang board

Where in MA are you? There aren't that many places that are an hour away from someplace pretty good in or out anyways. Of course if you happen to live in P-town all bets are off

What's your budget? You can get http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/rock_rings.html for $30, and if you're creative you can come up with semi-decent workouts.

my friend has those in his garage, they are pretty cool. Good for at home practice, but not as good as actual climbing
