Pretty close to a big metropolitan area for a campground. Neither Golden or Boulder are exactly remote destinations.

Personally I like the lack of obvious campgrounds in and around Boulder. There is plenty of camping available for climbers. Climbers know where to stay when climbing in and around Boulder. HV is cool and all, but could you imagine if the equivalent was at Eldo. EEK!!

Oh! Its an interest survey! To find out if there's interest in creating a climber's ranch like at Hueco or the Tetons.
Boy, you'll sure look silly when people start realizing that none of the climbing in the Boulder area is worth sleeping in the dirt for!
Seriously man? Golden? The Boulder area is great if you already live there, but it REALLY isn't worth it if you don't.

Climbers Ranch, now I got it. Thought it was for like more campgrounds. Yeah completely bad idea there isnt enough good climbing in the area to support such an idea.

Well, to clarify, there's a lot of decent-to-good climbing in the Front Range, and it is terribly convenient if you live in the Denver metro area. But the simple fact of the matter is that unless you live within 45 minutes of Eldo, or 20 minutes of Boulder Canyon or Golden Cliffs, the rockin-to-choss ratio is just too low to justify the trip. A climber's ranch in Estes Park, or near the South Platte I could see. But if you're road-tripping to hit Eldo or Clear Creek, you're probably happier finding somebody's couch to crash on.
