Howdy, new around here. Getting into indoor climbing lately and looking to buy a harness. My question is about sizing. I am assuming buying a harness that may be a tad small would be better than a tad large? My waste is right about 30" and legs are small and what I see on sizes are a size small goes upto 30" and Medium is 30-33. Think I would be better off with a Sm or Med? Thanks for the help and the wealth of knowledge around here.

You really have to try them on as sizing varies between manufacturers. I would expect you might be a small in some and a medium in others. FYI - I just picked up a small Petzl yesterday and I have about a 30" waist with medium to larger legs.
