Hey all, I live in Orlando Florida. I climb at the local gym here constantly and recently had my belay partner move away to college. Anyways, I was wondering what is the best way to go about finding a new partner to climb with? Are there any good sites I can go to to find people looking for climbing partners?

The best way is to meet people in person at the gym or at the crag. I've had pretty decent luck meeting people at climbing areas. It also gives you a chance to watch them and see if it looks like they know what they're doing. I ALWAYS climb with a new partner at the gym first, again, to make sure they know what they're doing. If you don't trust a new climbing partner, you won't climb well.

Certainly don't try here. The people are quite sketchy!

Just go out and talk to people at the gym or crag, be friendly. Show them your passionate and open to criticism
