Hello everyone. My name is Konstantinos and I am from Athens, Greece. 24 years old... I love very much mountains and high altitudes... When I am in high altitude I feel that I exist. But the reality is I do not like climbing... I prefer and I love hiking - walking (not running). I have two questions for you. 1) What is the highest altitude on Earth that I can go without climbing, only with hiking? Can it be calculated or it is complicated? In Andes and Himalayas, in which altitude I can go without climbing, only with my feet? 2) How can I begin my activity of hiking in mountains in my life? What is the first step? Can you suggest me a book to study the theory of hiking? Thank you...
