Obviously not moving for a job...

Where will mommy and daddy send more money?
Which state has a higher welfare payout?

Utah. The Colorado Front Range has been compromised with an excessive influence from the California escapees and a cost of living still out of line with the earning power unless you have a skilled trade or and education for a well-paid profession. It's a tough dollar there in the service sector. California is a gridlocked nightmare with high unemployment. I've lived both places and wouldn't recommend either.

If you're still considering Colorado, you'll be closer to the bouldering in Boulder, Fort Collins and CO Springs.

Neither. Chattanooga, TN. That is all.

It depends on how you define "close." If you want to boulder every day, your best choice is Bishop. You'll have to boulder before sunrise or late at night in the summer, but it's possible to boulder year-round.

I live in the Bay Area, which has a number of small bouldering spots within an hour. They are all ok, and you can boulder year-round. Castle Rock is the best one, but it's no Bishop or Yosemite in terms of quantity. However, you can drive to Bishop or Yosemite every weekend if you want.
