Tiger & Moody Beach can be accessed by boat in Lan Ha Bay. Tiger Beach is a private beach in Lan Ha Bay and you will need access passes to climb here. Check with Asia Outdoors for information.
DWS will depend on the conditions of the tides. When the tides are too low, starting on a route will be extremely difficult and increasing the dangers of falling onto the boat and hitting rocks. Email info@asiaoutdoors.com.vn for information about days with optimal tide conditions. Deep water soloing can be enjoyed from May to October when tides and weather are ideal.
There about 30 – 40 old routes in the bay that were equipped many years ago that do not meet the current safety standards. It is highly advised that you do not climb at these areas until they are re-bolted. Some of these areas with old bolts include: Taxi Girl, Laughing Dog Wall, Polish Pillar (One Pillar Pagoda), Jules Verne’s World, and Cerro Torre.
