Hey, I am moving to Yuma for work in March and have started to look into climbing areas/gyms. It doesn't look too promising so far. Sounds like everything nearby is hard to reach, so-so, or several hours drive making it a multi-day event. So, does anybody in Yuma have a home wall or is there someplace worth climbing nearby that I missed? I'm looking to buy a house there in the near future and put up a cave in a bedroom. So if not, I'll have something to climb in town before too long =P.

Hey, just moved here myself. So far the findings are pretty slim, havn't been out on anything but heard of "High Tanks near Yuma" as the closest perhaps. I'd be happy to help out build a boulder cave though if you need a few extra hands! Let me know when your here and we can set out to find the high tanks perhaps.

The Marine Corps Air Station is supposed to have an outdoor three story climbing wall attached to the back of the Main Gym. I'm not sure of their usage policies but a call to Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) might help. I'm heading out there for a month of training in Feb. Any luck finding any where to climb?
