I'm aware that there has already been a question asked like this, however that was 6 years ago and the answers were not very good.
I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of climbing scholarships for college?
On the other thread a person spoke of ROTC which I am aware and might do like Sophmore year of college.
I was asking if there is anything else as well?

Yes there are scholarships for obscure things like rockclimbing. The will not get you much, useally a few hundred dollars, but hey thats a book or two. Check out your schools financial aid program. Also find out if there is a climbing club at your school of intrest and track down the presedent and start looking for any other climbers that may have taken advantage of such a grant/scholarship and see what they did to apply.

What does ROTC have to do with a scholarship for climbing?
