Crash Pad Issue for Joe's Valley

A couple of friends and I are potentially planning a trip to Joe's Valley in April. This issue is, when flying from Canada, the oversized luggage charge for a crash pad is $175 one way per pad. Shipping 3 pads is $300 one way.

I've contacted REI as well as a couple other stores, and can't find anyone who does, or even a recommendation for anyone who rents.

Short of buying pads there and discarding them (sadly the cheapest option), does anyone know of any place that rents pads?

I've bought pads on craigslist. There's one listed at ogden right now.

Luggage is the worst way to ship anything. Hell, I get nervous checking in my thrift store bought clothes into luggage.
