Awhile ago Dean said he was working on a book in one of the interviews, does anyone know of any updates on it? I searched, but nothing.

I would not want to be his editor.

He's a gifted climber, but everything he's written, said, or expressed via interpretive dance in the last 6 years has been so stupid that I believe drinking paint thinner instead of paying attention to him would have a less deleterious effect on the average brain.

His writing definitely needs some work. I would bet that most climbers who publish the types of books he's talking about use a "Ghost Writer."

That's one of the best things I've read on this site in quite a while!!!

ca. 2003, he wrote something for a Patagonia catalog that was actually pretty good, but mostly because it focused on climbing, not how spiritual or core or whatever the experience was.

Perhaps the binding can be in roll form, with perforations. Aloe would be nice too, to prevent chafing.
