Monday we were out at the Twin Towers and the Candy O, had a nice no falls day. Those TT routes are really nice. Long drive home, was an hour late to pick loyerette up at airport so she took a cab and is somewhat cross with me. Good times. what was your buddy's response to the BET/so-cak meatup? I think his mind was blown. he thought the whole thing was hysterical. When I told him murf was a bolt chopper he jsut about melted down. It was great. Especially since he had to do some sketch scramble off colorado crack! hahahaha!!! ha! yeah, I don't remember if I scrambled off teh coloradiego carck or just rapped off the 10d to the right. either way, getting down was not bad.

Louie is fine. He was wandering around off leash. People were pretty good about discouraging him from going near Tiger, the killer dog. I guess TIger will just try to chomp anything that comes close. Which is bad, since most dogs will go check out other dogs. At one point, they were switching crags and were leading Tiger out of there, and Louie got within like 3 feet. Kept telling me ' oh man you don't know how close your dog just came to getting killed.' well fuck that. How about you control your dog or leave it at home. Unacceptable. Super weird because Big Tony is a really nice guy. technically, it's not Big Tony's dog.

Hell, two hours out of boston and you're still in the suburbs. Yeah, for climbzing, I would actually take Hellhio over Boston. I just checked, and Boston is about the same distance to the Gunks as we are now from the New or the Red. But the Gunks do not have a long of a season. And in Hellhio, when my foot is not broken, I have the option through all of winter of taking a weekend trip down to sunny sandstone. You can climb [rock] year round in the gunks (~3 hour drive). Hell, you can climb [rock] year round in Rumney (~3 hour drive). When things get cold, go pebble wrestle in Lincoln Woods with the Carny. You can climb [rock] year round in the Mount Washington Valley (~3 hour drive) and you can definitely climb at Shagg year round. All within a couple hours of Boston. Plus the Boston crags and quite a few good-sized gyms.

- would be avoiding teh carney, for SURE. - I call major bullshit on climbing anywhere near mt washington "year round." the only time I was there, in late JUNE, there was SNOW. underneath all the rain. You can climb the South Buttress on Whitehorse pretty much year round. It could be cold as all fuck, but the sun dries it out pretty quick after a snow.

You should ring him up for another go at the Lethal Weapon. Heh, I looked up Lethal Weapon; I guess it is the route that JayTee has for his avatar? Looks rad, and sounds like Znupe is getting stronger and stronger. it was weird, I got on predator the day before (rated half to a full letter grade easier, depending where you look) and thought it felt significantly harder ... though this is partly because my kneebar skills are nonexistent. fortunately I haven't tried the double kneebar ranch yet. the moves on Lethal Weapon are pretty damn rad, though. nate indicated that it's hard to get from one hang to actually zending ... we'll see. I'm falling off the crux move, but there's a pretty powerful throw right after that that could be a bitch while pumped. Well, ewe could start reveling us awl with tails of the one-hang for the next six months. That is definitely acceptable gerk tawk; I know it makes up like 80% of my conversation. that will depend on how often I get out to gnu jack. after trips to the hole, hopefully I'll be able to tell you about one-hangs of the drive-by, pushing the one hang higher and higher. at least with the lethal weapon, there's a key move (the throw to the jug) after which the rowt should go down. with the drive-by, you can fall off any move (even the somewhat easier shit at the top) because you're so pumped and there's nothing really resembling a rest.

I just checked, and Boston is about the same distance to the Gunks as we are now from the New or the Red. But the Gunks do not have a long of a season.
