Definitly don't get one that had to be bottle fed 'cause it's momma got hit by a car.

As for killing instincts: when I was growing up I had a cat and my little sister had a cat. My cat occasionaly killed, but as far as I know overly often, my sister's cat liked to kill a lot of small animals. I think sometimes you get a real killer, something you don't.

Farm cats can be a crap shoot though. They range from totally domesticated to totally feral. If you want a cat that baby monkey can love I'd avoid one from a barn.

think i've told this story before, but my older sister has a little terrier and they had a rabbit have babies under their porch. they kept getting the dog in trouble for chasing/killing them. I was like dude.... what do you think this will accomplish?
