I'm going to be traveling on business in Europe, Lyon France from February 25-Mar 1st, then Parma, Italy from March 4th-8th. This leaves me the weekend of March 2nd-3rd free, and I'd love to get out rock climbing. I'm looking for hints/help for doing so. Best would, of course, be someone local interested in taking a traveling Canadian out climbing. I climb around 5.10b / 6a+, I am fine with leading on gear (though at a few grades lower) or sport, or following, or top-roping stuff. I will have personal gear (harness, shoes, belay plate, etc) but won't be able to bring anything further -- though I will have a car and can drive. Je parle un peu de francais. But, I don't speak any Italian. Another option would be pointers to a local guiding company that I might talk about hiring for a day or two, though this would make things a lot more expensive. Thanks for any help or suggestions.
