Rogan is kind of a tool at times but also funny and it's great to watch Honnold relax and cut loose in an interview. Pretty funny stuff. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/28885845 I couldn't get through the ads portion. It's like most unedited interviews. It takes a bit for folks to warm to each other and find a rhythm. The first 10 min. are the least funny/interesting.

does chad ever say anything that isn't annoyingly needling? I mean, I think everything this guy writes on here is similar to one of those guys with a whiny voice who always has something contrary to say about anything. It's like if you told him his name is Chad he'd find a way to tell you that you pronounced it wrong, and the reason his parents chose that specific pronunciation is because of a family heritage thing that goes back six hundred years and actually means enough to his mom that she cries every time pronounces his name in that special way. Or is it just me?

And I nominate injuries as the premier fun killing machine. I have rested my Achilles for almost a month and its getting better. Trying to hold off for another two weeks to be safe. I can climb on it if I want, but I can certainly pass on the gym seshes.

And I would say something like, "Shut up, you sniveling little rats, you'll go to Glacier Bay, Alaska* and like it!" And you know what? They did, and they are now deeply involved in outdoor pursuits of their own, not shopping malls, golf courses, and magic kingdoms. * Or: Camping and hiking in RMNP (3 trips) River rafting through Dinosaur Natl Monument - 8 day float Climbing in Eldo, Yosemite, Smith Rock, Gunks, NH 12 day trip up Alaska's Inside Passage 14 day float down Alaska's Hula Hula River to the Arctic Ocean Parasailing in Tahoe And other boring shit like that.

Also, when i responded, I hadn't yet read the reports about what happened in the potrero. my sister has a season's pass to disneyland (they live about 15min away). I hate that. My niece is growing up without knowing what dirt is.

Kartessa wrote: So... who of you butt faces are coming to see me in Joshua Tree next week? Still trying to arrange to get out there. You're camping in the park right? Got a ton of irons in the fire though. Son's Bday is that week. We're headed up to MIL Sat 2nd for that. Prolly have son's bday with freinds on Fri 8th. If I can get him and the wife to commit to something, anything. Might be able to get out to JTree Sat 9th for the day/night. Then Pres day weekend freinds are wanting to hit RR. My kids have 5 day weekend. Tried to talk Wife to go with trailer, and co celabrate our 16th. Didn't get much traction. Then MIL decided last minute to have big shindig for her 50th on that weekend. Then the following weekend older boy is at Jtree for scout camp out and climbing. And I still haven't got any idea when and what the wife wants to do for our Ann. Not to mention work is kicking my keister. sooooo....... maybe. I'll PM you my cell #, and text me where you're camping when you get there, and I might be able to get there, and maybe bring a box of wine, and a camp chair. Just don't make me get out of the chair and klimb.

You should totally wait for me. I was thinking of the California types... Then you have to be more specific than just "butt faces." We know who we are.

It only hurt a little that you did not respond to my self invite. I am strong on the inside. I can take it. *single tear* I dont invite non-facebook friends Means Ecop can't bring Erin doh!
