Hello RockClimbing community,

I could use some input. I am currently climbing (have been for 2yrs) in a Black Diamond Momentum harness and it fits really well. However due to several factors I get incredibly hot wearing it due to all the fabric and padding that is in the back of the waist strap. I know it's there to increase comfort during all day climbing or longer climbs but the heat factor and sweat is becoming to much for me to deal with so I am looking into get not nessicarly a light weight harness but a harness that is thinner in the back and doesn't have all that felt and foam padding. The main problem is that I live in an area where there really is no climbing equipment vendors. So I was hoping to get the opinions of some of you kind folks on here as to what harness you might recommend in my situation. Any help, advice, or comments you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

What's your budget?

I am a fan of the Arc'teryx harnesses.

No real budget restrictions. I don't mind if I have to pay a decent penny to get something that fits what I need. Do you have a suggestion on a specific Arc'teryx harness?

The previous generation of Petzl harnesses have significant mesh portions. I always sweat a lot in my arc'teryx.

I second that vote for the petzl... Like the Adjama, super ventilated, and since they're being "updated" you can probably get a great deal on one if you look around.
