A heads-up:
The Access is working with the Forest Service on reopening the Williamson Cliffs, a local crag to Klamath Falls.
Part of the plan for reopening the cliffs to climbing will be to construct an access trail along the base of the cliffs.
A tentative date has been set for the Access Fund to bring their trailcrew to the area for two weeks in September. We will be relying on volunteer support to get the work we need accomplished.
The Forest is under a lot of pressure to keep the cliffs closed to climbing, so this is a big deal. We are hoping for the support of climbers outside the Klamath area to make this work.
