I recently moved to Helena, MT from ND and am looking to get into rock climbing. I have done a fair amount of indoor lead climbing but only a couple outdoor climbs in MT (ND isn't a very good place to climb). I am willing to learn both sport and trad. I have my own gear and can climb 5.8 and 5.9's. Let me know if you're interested. Lane

If you want to make a trip down to bozeman give me a holler, I will be willing to climb sport, trad or ice. untill then check out these guys Helena Climbing Association 1035 Mill Road Helena, Montana (406) 443-1697 > 1300 sq. ft. area 20 feet tall climbing wall. Overhangs, crack climbing; top rope. You might be able to find some people to take you to Avalanch gultch, hell gate or blue cloud.

Hey are you still in the Bozeman area? I just got some more climbing gear to be ready for spring climbing. Thanks for the reference by the way to Helena Climbing Assoc. but I think they are closed. I tried to call their number once and it is disconnected. I'd be up for a climb around Bozeman sometime though. Headed down that way this weekend to go skiing at Bridger.
