Is there anyone in the Atlanta area on this forum. I am looking for someone to climb with and expand my knowledge and skill.

I live in the Atlanta area, where I climb at Stone Summit. I just started climbing a couple of weeks ago, but I too am looking for a serious partner that wants to get savage on the walls. I have very high short-term goals and am only looking for highly motivated partners. I'll be looking to go to stone summit 4 days out of the week in the evening.

During the week I usually climb at Stone Summit. But on weekends I have been making my way out to Boat Rock & Rocktown.

Shoot me a PM and we can meet up.

Hello All,
I live in Decatur, and after a break, am getting back to climbing. I heard great things about Stone Summit, and climbed in Atl Rocks and Wall Crawler before. Anybody want to get together and climb?

Brazzz-I don't know if I missed any Zzz :)
Do you do indoor climbing during weekends?

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Cheers!

That's a great way to burn out. I share your enthusiasm for the sport, but don't try to do it all at once. If your perspective becomes anything more than just "getting savage on the wall" (which I hope it does), climbing will provide a lifetime of enjoyment that doesn't depend on how hard a route you can climb.

Also makes it harder to find belay partners if you're only looking for a select few tough guys.

To the OP, I live in Greenville and make frequent trips to Atlanta and the mountains to the northeast.

I no longer climb at Stone Summit. It became way to crowded and just not very friendly overall. I live closer to Escalade. Im usually up there every other day or so and on weekends I try to make it outdoors as much as possible.

< Sport, Trad, Bouldering here. Live in the Buford area (Gwinnett County). Also looking for safety oriented climbing partners. Currahee, Yonah, Sand Rock AL etc. Not that interested in indoor climbing. Happy to participate in routes from 5.6 - 5.13a. They are all fun to me.
