Took Sylas to an inflatable slide/bouncy castle festival yesterday at the warplane museum. It was pretty cool until he got me to take him up the biggest slide an go down with him. Somehow, I got pulled into the corner on the way down and as I lost control my right arm just locked onto the seam, I have a sort of "rug burn" going from my wrist to my elbow.

Arm is all wrapped up, I look like a left-handed cutter.

wow, the kiddo is learning fast. sounds like his rope-cutting abilities could be inherent.

(is a burn that will scar? - if so, that sucks)

Ever seen Fight Club? Remember how Jack and Marla get addicted to support groups?

I fucking hate them, and every time, my mother starts ragging on me "if you care about your son, you'll go" to these bullshit parent groups.

Sometimes hopelessness can be a good thing. To stop wishing and praying and just love today without giving a fuck about tomorrow.

Is very true. And I've found that I am much more reliable to lean on than other people.

Sometimes it really is better to be your own good, smart bear.

Another round of Name That Reference!

This one is worth 37 points with a bonus question that can double your score.

I get it, but sometimes it helps. Not that you need to talk to people to feel better about yourself (and maybe that'd help, too), but sometimes people simply have information that you don't know about. If you don't want a therapy session, do go there for that. Go there with the intent to get specific info.

I don't think it's out of the question to suggest that doing this alone might not be the best long-term solution.
