Second 10k this week. I didn't mean to, but at the 3 mile mark I felt good; so I kept going... I could have kept going too. I finally had that breakthrough when you just go and feel good doing it. I haven't felt that for years. ugh...

Looks like tomorrow will end my self imposed 15 year hiatus from ice climbing. I'm not super psyched, but it's probably time to get back on the frozen horse. Around the turn of the century I bought two ice axes and rigid crampons to replace my old school gear, and haven't used them even once. The "new" tools are already outdated, but I don't care, they'll get me where I need to go. The four ancient Chouinard screws, however...
