Hello friends, I'm an East Coast-climber recently transplanted to Los Angeles and I really want to learn how to trad climb. I have experience with toproping, but I've never lead sport or, obviously, trad. I've done some research into various classes/companies and the prices seem to vary pretty wildly as well as the details of each class. Does anyone here have experience with trad climbing classes, either in Southern California or even anywhere in the country, and can tell me a thing or two about them? Thanks for any and all help.

If you make it to San Diego, I'd do it for cheaper than you'll find with the formal guides. I've done many private lessons, have had only very happy customers, and I have vast experience to back my teaching. Josh Edit for credibility: I was the one who taught Nathalie how to climb trad - http://www.climberism.com/...in-val-david-quebec/
