Hey all, This may sound crazy, but i'm getting married in April 2013 and looking for some kind hearted individuals to help me make my wedding speech something to remember. My other half means the world me. I want to tell the world, she is my world and do this by getting a simple, personal, A4 message out there as far, wide and HIGH as possible. Are you able to help? If you're hiking up any hilltop, mountain wherever in the world can you print the message and take a photo of you holding it at / near the summit? That would be amazing, then email it me... My email is m0atz.colin@gmail.com if you could drop me a line if interested / able to help I'd be over the moon. Many thanks Col

I'm not climbing any mountains in the near future but here's an idea for the reception. I built this and played it at my wedding reception ... it went over very well https://vimeo.com/19369265

Excellent! Thanks for the link, looks exactly the sort of thing I want to do with Google Earth! How did you capture it, I'm playing around with "Fraps" software to capture the screen at the minute, any other suggestions? Cheers.

Thank you. It was a few years back now but after much searching for quick and easy approaches I think I did it frame by frame somehow.

Personally, I think this is a really creative idea. I hope you get the support to match her meaning to you! I inow the wedding is in April. By what date do you need everything. Bill L

Hi Bill, thanks for the reply and comments. Hopefully it will turn out to be a good idea :-) I have a few other things up my sleeve as it were to try and make the speech something to remember. The whole thing hinges around spreading the " you are my world" message as far and wide and importantly as high as poss. If you, or others, can help, photos in the next 2 weeks would be ideal, giving me chance to collate and build them into the short video. Thanks again for the replies and positive comments, hopefully it will all come together! Cheers Colin

Wrote mine on the back of a piece of cardboard from a coor's light case during a particularly drunken night on a desert climbing trip with just the boys. Whipped out the original unedited beer scrap and read it during the ceremonies. Had myself and everyone else laughing and crying. Worked for me... Helped that that particular watered down beer is one of my wife's favorites. Just let your heart talk brother!

I'm happy to do this but can you provide a different copy of the image on a white background instead of black? I'm not that keen to print an entire page of black ink. I have climbing trips coming up this year to destinations all over the US, as well as Peru and Australia.

Hey dude, Thanks for the offer, much appreciated and your adventures sound cool. However, my wedding is a week on sunday (21.04.13) therefore time would have passed. Appreciate the sentiment though and stay safe on your travels.
