Looking up at the rock on my way from the Bay Area to Southern Oregon, I noticed that there was a distinct lack of snow on the climbs! Other than trudging through snow on the way to the climbs, how is winter climbing at this area?

Thanks.

Few, if any, go up to the crags in the winter. It's a tough approach in good weather!

Most of us avoid the crags unless on skis in the winter. Descents are dubious if in a gully (steep hard pack). Post holing misery for a few more weeks. Then most will start to open up.
