The nice thing is the potential bail point at Two Harbors. Oooh, it's fun to suggest trips for other people! Ekop, you should scuba from SoCal to New Guinea, and then solo Carstenz Pyramid. The nice thing is the potential to have a story on Shark Week. Grate idea. I'll go next. Greg should paddle up the Amazon to the source and climb the Andes. Descending the other side to the Pacific. Please stick to the format, ie: The nice thing is the potential (with advances in frostbite aftercare) to be the first four fingered editor of Accidents in South American Mountaineering. Which is more than enough fingers to type, albeit slowly.

I got volintold to go on travel next week... ewwww. travel entails being off-the-grid internet and phone-wise. I no likey. Shit food. smelly sailors. all for 6 hours of work. The good thing is that I get paid 16 hour days and a 15% premium. If you can call that good. I need to retire and become nomadic like edge.

THIS! after this weekend where the snow was at times good and at times slushy and blah I started thinking about skis and how I actually wouldn't mind having a couple pairs so I could pick ones for the conditions :P I technically have 2 pairs now, but my first set are really too short. They were suuuper cheap and made for really easy learning, but now that I'm used to a more appropriate length, I feel like I should replace those with something longer. woo buying stuff!

Headed down to Floripa on Sat with the Lady's father. We stopped at the church dedicated to Brasil's first saint. It's a nice looking church, to be honest. We went to dinner that night at a great restaurant right on the water. It's a place we go to now every time we're there. The grilled fish is best we've found...anywhere...as in - ANYWHERE. So that was nice. Then on Sunday the Lady and I took a boat ride on my therapist's boat. That was fun. A few pics: In the fishermen's canal (many of these homes are worth over $1m, even though about half are owned by fishermen and have no access road.) And here is the Lady headed out to the water on one of our days on the beach No pics from the last day on my camera anyway, but it was an adventure. Some dude followed us around, but tried to stay hidden the whole time. He couldn't. it was obvious he was whacking off behind some rocks and was following us through a rocky section that splits two beautiful beaches. welcome to brasil.
