Climbing Gyms in France?

This summer I might be going on a long vacation to Valence, France, and was wondering if anyone here knows of any climbing gyms in or around that area if I get bored one weekend.
I looked up Mineral Spirit, which is a "climbing club" in Valence. From what I've been able to read (I speak some French) on their website, it seems to be a bouldering wall facility and I couldn't find any photos of it- only the construction of the old "room". :/
If I'm not mistaken (my French is kinda rough), they mentioned on the website needing licences for access to some outdoor crags in the area.

Although 10 Euros for and adult day pass there isn't bad, I'd like to know if anyone has any information on other and bigger gyms or crags near Valence, or these licenses I've heard of.

Thanks! Smile

I think Mineral Spirit was recently improved.

Lyon is close, and has a huge gym:
http://www.lemurdelyon.com

Grenoble is also not far, and also has two big gyms
http://www.espacevertical.com

Lots of good crags nearby, like Ombleze, Saou, Pont de Barret, Les Branches + other Ardeche crags/ No license required for any of those at least and I have never heard of such a thing anywhere in france.

Thank you for the suggestions and links, mnanao! There's a lot more there than I expected as far as gyms and crags go. Smile
