Well, the POD is fully loaded and they are picking it up in a half hour. We won't see the contents again for 3+ months, so if we don't have it with us, we don't need it.
Tomorrow I load the remaining stuff in the RV, make a trip or two to the dump, then help my son move his belongings to my parents for temporary storage until he gets a job and apartment.
The weather has sucked all week, so no bolts or progress on the new route. We have tentative plans to drill tomorrow, bug the forecast looks grim right through Saturday. It could be that I leave this little gem for a friend; at least I can travel knowing that I got all the moves.

It looks like my son is going to take a job with a small start-up that specializes in finding hotel accommodations for traveling sports teams. It's entry level now, but there is room for advancement and commissions if he brings in new business. And he will be making more annually than I have in any of the last decade as a furniture maker.
Now he needs to decide where he wants to live and find a roomie to cut down on expenses. He wants to be in Mass (?), methinks to be closer to the girlfriend who still has another year at ZooMass.
The guy that he interviewed with at the NE Revolution is also trying to create a part time position for him to get him on board there.

Not gonna lie, it does.
I'm not a huge comic fan, but the good ones I'll go see. Still haven't seen the newest batman. not sure that I will.
It seems that when these movies are darker they tend to be better. Here's hoping they show a darker side of Superman instead of simply showing him as a hero.

Did you not read the part about the girlfriend in Mass? Or maybe since his new job will entail fielding calls from clients, he can move to Pakistan and develop a heavy accent?

Yeah, I get the part about the GF being in MA, but since you already alluded to there being some doubt as to where he was going to live, I figured it was still up for play.
With the wonders of magicjack, skype, and those other companies (v something or other), he can use a local phone in another country. that's precisely what I do. I have a bangor phone number here in curitiba. i have a dedicated phone set up to that line. my family can call me, i can call them and it costs me $60/yr...nothing more. and the call is as good as calling from bangor to brewer.
benefits of living abroad and earning cash in the US: cheaper living (by far in some places), new languages and cultures, and you don't pay state taxes (well, depending on where the company is located), and you may not need to pay federal taxes up to $95k (depending on how you're paid in the US).
Even if you still have to pay taxes (taxes are mostly resident-based, but not always), he'll be earning more than the local population and spending less.
It's a damn good deal.
