Just thought I'd share my ascent video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnbdZ4kuwqw Finally made it to a bucket-list climb; the Ancient Art spire in Moab, UT and did the stolen chimney 5.10 route this spring... After watching every video on Youtube of this summit, I was finally able to make my own. Also, for anyone out there who is wanting to do Stolen Chimney 5.10 on this spire, very little trad gear is needed if you are are comfortable with 5.8 climbing. I only used one cam and about 3 hexes for the entire route. If you can make it to Moab, this climb is definitely a must do.

I hope you were singing the "come sail away" song when you summited like in the commercial on TV of this spire. I know I will be when I summit.

Cool video of a really fun route that everyone should try to get on.

I only used one cam and about 3 hexes for the entire route. But bring some long slings (both for slinging shit and extending your placements). But yeah, all the actually hard bits are on bolts, albeit some shitty ones in places. I had some issues in places in the chimney because I am fat and bad at those things, though.

Good video! Nice to see a group that seems to know what they're doing.
