I just got a new pair of solutions, size 40.5. My last pair was a size 41.5. they were originally too tight, but after about six months they have stretched too become a little too big, and are more comfy than performance oriented. My heel almost slips out on heel hooks now.

my new shoes are REALLY hard to get on.

for those of you that have solutions, how tight do you wear them?

can't tell if you're trolling

by the way, I'm not a troll. I just need some info from a knowledgeable community.

what makes you think i'm trolling? if i were, i'd tell you that you were wasting your time and should buy a pair of Lace-up board lasted ClimbX's.

Why would you buy a pair of "high performance" shoes, and not have them as tight as you can fit?
Would you buy a Lambo and keep it under 85 at all times? NO! i wouldn't buy solutions, or any "sending" shoe in a comfortable size.

I understand that. I was just thinking that they may be a little too small. Mt street shoe is a 44-44.5, and the solutions I just bought are 40.5.

It is pretty hard to get my feet into the shoes. And they hurt, pretty bad. Do you think that I should stick with them?

Is there an answer you'll accept for this one?

Personally, I'd recommend a pair of size 41.5-42 Solutions if your street shoe size is 44-44.5

Shoes stretch out eventually, but only if you wear them.

I wear the same street size as you, and I wear a 41. Solutions are a complete pain to break in (literally, they hurt a lot) but once you do they're pretty tolerable.

Do any of you guys have experience with the Teams?

How do they compare to the Solutions?
