Greg.

I want you to read what you wrote. Digest it a bit. Reflect on your writing; what you said; what you meant.

Hot springs generally equate to water that is geothermically warmed and surface at warm temperatures.
Springs - typical, non-hot type - tend to be caused by a spot where water, due to several factors, surface. This can refer to both hot and cold springs...

Foot, meet mouth!

After looking, though... they are all considered proper hot springs. The only one there that may be of questionable warmth is the one adjacent to the limestone formation at the 'falls,' which may be temperature influenced by the adjacent river.

None of the ones we tried were hot. One was lukewarm, but that was it. Definitely required a warm day and we were there a day after it had snowed that night.

The girls said it was 105*. They went to a pot of mud made with the hot spring water, lathered up and let it dry, then rinsed off in another spring. I opted out and hiked in the desert, which was also hot.

No climbing this weekend. Shoulder feels weird. Did something to it at work.

Woke up earlyish. Got a massage. Went to the river. Made mango/lime salsa and fish tacos and an epic brownie with marshmallows on top. Going to celebrate my father with the family tomorrow.

Have to help a friend prep her nursery for her first baby next weekend and going to the beach over the 4th, so climbing opportunities are looking slim.

After getting out 5 weeks in a row, the thought of all ^this^ not-climbing makes me uneasy.

Weather was perfect this weekend. Would really have liked to go soloing again. I think I'm going to be selfish and do more of it this season.

I wasn't so lucky at seneca. Normally I score at least one nut on each trip. Nada last time around.

The nOObs are stepping up their game.
