Went climbing last night after work, climbed like shit. It was hot and muggy, but I think the real reason is that I ate like garbage on Tuesday and haven't been getting enough sleep. Not that getting home after 10pm last night helped with the sleep department.....

Not that getting home after 10pm last night helped with the sleep department..... That suckz! I had a good day of trying hard and not sending anything yesterday, unless you count a new climb I did as a warmup. 100 ft of "5.10c", a.k.a. 5.9, with 15 bolts! Scared the crap out of me when a big furry rodent-like creature came out of the big pocket I was clipping from. Not quite sure what it was, bigger than a squirrel, it looked like chinchilla. But it didn't bite me, and so I am feeling tender love towards it. Banz sent 13b 3rd go. The first go he lowered from the crux after multiple tries, saying that he had no business even being on the route, 2nd go he figured out the moves, and he almost didn't go for the 3rd burn, feeling really tired. But I talked him into doing it as a 'beta run", and then he had a big sponsored Petzl climber cheer him on, and he stuck the crux, and was like, oh shit, now i have to actually try and finish it. Which he did.

hey snupe, what did you do at the needles? I did some hot power yoga yesterday and I think I sprained my big toe. I've had some big toe issues for a few years but it feels pretty lousy right now, hopefully I'll be able to climb on it soon.
