Oval Carabiner strength??

I just bought a couple omega pacific oval locking biners that will be opposite and opposed at the master point for my top rope set up.

The thing is, these biners are rated at 22kn major axis strength. A lot of biners are rated a bit higher than that.

Is there any concern with using these locking ovals at my master point? Might sound like a silly question but it will put my mind at ease to hear some responses. Not sure if I should return them and get something rated at 24kn

Thanks in advance

I use an old pair of non-locking ovals that are rated at 22kn and have no worries. In a toprope situation you will never reach the forces required to break even one of these. If you reach even a 4kn force you are either extremely heavy or doing something very wrong.
If you don't know these things yet then you need to find a competent instructor and take a few courses

1 KN is about 220 lbs. 2 x 22Kn x 220 lbs = way more than you could ever get on that.

One locking biner is (more than) enough strength-wise -- two are used, generally, in case an accidental unlock & open happens on one of them, not because the extra strength is needed.
