Irritation in one armpit after climbing

After I climb I get an irritation in my right armpit right at the point where my arm and torso meet. I find that the seam of the t-shirts that I wear rubbing against this area really starts to hurt for a a few days.

I haven't climbed for 3 months and didn't get this pain once but went climbing on Monday and on Tuesday I had the pain again. From past experience I know that this will not go away with continuing use.

Has anyone any idea what could be causing this. I can't see any visible marks, welts or bruising in the area which makes me wonder is it a nerve or something?

its not chafing? If I hike with a backpack I'll get some irritation under there , chafing where my pectoral is pressed up against the inner side of my bicep (where it meets the humerus socket joint in shoulder). It will eventually become an "injury" in the sense it will stay for 1-2 days as an irritation (and not just go away right away).

Well I don't see any visible marks and it's isolated to just my right armpit. Surely if it was chafing then I'd get it in both arms.

Besides, I only climbed for 15 minutes.

I just checked in the mirror there and there are no visible signs of chafing. I did notice a blue artery/vein though that is just under the skin in the area that's giving me the irritation.

maybe try a massage on the area from a skilled friend or pay somebody if everybody sucks at massage around you.
