This is my opinion. I think we should take care of the animals that are about to go extinct now. But at the same time if we brought back woolly mammoths were a big part of the ecosystem and without them the grasslands were turned into boreal forest and tundra. Also the passenger pigeons used to live from the deep south all the way to Canada and could be a major food source. Also we killed off a lot a species from the dodo to the tasmanian tiger

^^^ you've got that backwards. The end of the ice age (plus humans) turne the grasslands to forest, and those are what killed off the mammoths.

Still, I'd like to see a mammoth in my lifetime. Just 'cause it'd be super cool.
