This year’s RRGCC Rocktoberfest festival and fundraiser will be held on October 11, 12, & 13, 2013 at the Natural Bridge Cabin Company Campground in Slade, Kentucky. After paying off its’ Access Fund loan on the Pendergrass-Murray Recreational Preserve, the Red River Gorge Climbers’ Coalition did exactly what was promised during Rocktoberfest last year, we went back into debt, purchasing 310 acres of additional land with undeveloped cliffline. This year’s festivities will include Reel Rock 8, the Clip N’ Go outdoor comp on the PMRP, crate stacking, arm wrestling, water balloon launch, pro clinics, and bluegrass music from the Mike Creech Band.
