tricep pull/strain from hanging

Since i started strengthening my fingers and forearms with hangboards, monkey bars, etc., i have noticed a sharp, tearing pain in the bottom of my tricep, 2 inches above my elbow on the back of my arm.

The pain only happens when my left arm is fully extended and i am supporting my bodyweight with the fingers in my left hand. My right arm is completely fine.

Anybody ever had a problem like this? I'm still climbing, but stay away from fully extending my left arm. feel like its getting worse. Just bought a brace today.

What happens when you carry something heavy (similar to the weight you have while hanging) with your left arm but in different positions - while standing, or lying down?

Does your shoulder blade position (retracted or extended) change anything to the pain?
