I live in raleigh but my hometown is Wilmington and I've been trying to find out if there is a climbing gym (other than UNCW's) that is in Wilmington or at least close by to keep my fingers from getting soft while in town.

I moved to the area a couple months ago from PA and unfortunately there is no gym in Wilmington, I guess Climb On closed a couple years ago. The UNCW wall is the only place in town.
I have found a couple outdoor bouldering walls downtown that I am planning to check out if you would like to join when you're in town.
I was up in Raleigh last week and was trying to convince the guys at Triangle Rock Club to open a gym down here. Wilmington should have a place to climb!

Hi there, I was wondering what bouldering walls you are talking about downtown? I have a climbing wall that we built in our backyard because we couldnt find ANYWHERE to climb after climb on closed down. We are heading up to Moores Wall over thanksgiving weekend if anyone is interested in riding along let me know!
