I'm taking a trip down south and wondering about any info anyone has on the evolv outlet store.
Can you buy current in-store shoes for cheap? How does it work? Do they have other discounted gear like crash pads? Average prices?

Also does 5ten have anything like this? Or La sportiva?
Thanks!!

Five-Ten has an outlet in Redlands, CA. Last I checked, they were only open Friday afternoons. Prices for cosmetic defects are about 65% of retail. They sometimes also have demos for sale for next to nothing.

If buying Evolv check the rand for thinness. Have had several friends who, despite good footwork, have gone through the rands very quickly, days and weeks. Some have been replaced by Evolv. In a local climbing store, I was showing a friend how to check the rand and put a thumb nail through a brand new shoe the rand was so thin.
This may be a problem in an outlet that is selling 'slight' seconds.
