I can't let rc go down without at least SOMETHING said about this moment in climbing history....
Watched the last tw pitches get climbed via live news feed, and have to say it was engrossing. I can't imagine how non-climbers could have stood it without being very confused about what the big deal was, but I felt the excitement building as they moved along and that last pitch, I just felt so happy for those guys.
Can't wait to see how the Big Up/Sender documents the thing.

Agreed! It is a big deal. Those guys busted there tail and the world saw it all. Bravo!!

I onsighted my second 5.11b and nobody tweeted or blogged either. Interestingly this fact has no bearing on the dawn wall.

Onsight will be virtually impossible due to the amount of tweating and news coverage. Ondra will already know that he has to hold on to holds the size of match sticks a climb a wall as steep as your bathroom wall. So perhaps a flash.
