I need to find some place to go bouldering in Reno. Can anyone help. I just started climbing a few months ago and I want to go some place here in Reno. Directions would be helpful.

If my geography is correct then the closest climbing to Reno is in Lake Tahoe. I think the climbing shop is in Truckee and if you call them they'll give you all the beta on local areas.
Donner Summit was actually just featured in the last R&I (or Climbing?) magazine.

Hey, I'm new to the area too... There is actually a ton of good bouldering around tahoe, and from what I've seen there is also some good trad stuff around donner summit and a few other places. Just moved here from everywhere. I am living in Carson City working a 7 day on 7 day off shift. I like to boulder, sportclimb, trad climb, ice climb, aid climb. I am up for anything backcountry skiing, big walls etc. Email me at boonecounty@hotmail.com
