Canon powershot s30 is a great camera, tons of features best all around buy for your buck.. I know 3 camera buffs and they all have one.. thats why I got one.. the pictures I took in jtree were with the s30 they are great quality 3.2 megapixel camera. go to this website though www.dpreview.com lots of good reviews.. best site to look at

Ditto on the Canon S30... One of the nicest all-round point and shoot cameras in the 3 mega pixel class. It takes good pictures plus it feels quite solid. For a more advanced camera with interchangable lenses, etc, I'd look at Canon or Nikon. Here's a good site: http://www.steves-digicams.com/
