I was wondering if anyone has a clue as to where there is some good sport climbs. I am from Iowa, USA, but am here for about seven months, studing at Newcastle Uni. If anyone knows of a good place to climb, let me know! I am dying to do some climbing! Thanks, Andy Anderson

There's a lot of good climbing on the Cental Coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco. OOP! Not the right Central Coast.

Wassup Andy! He means the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Hence the reference to Newcastle Uni. Have you been able to get in touch with "Maddie"? From memory she is from the central coast. How was Nowra? Another possibility is a road trip to Armidale (still a hefty drive from Newcastle). A site to help with research: www.climbing.com.au and have you checked out: http://www.newcastle.edu.au/sport-recreation/nusportclubs/numc/ ???? You should come down to Sydney some time, I'll be happy to show round. I'm on holidays till March. Just email me. Good luck, Duncan
