When I lived in North Carolina, we always went to Virginia and Tennessee. There are AMAZING CAVES there....worth the drive. If you want some beta on specific ones, people to hook up with, etc, PM me. I miss it out there! Have fun underground.

I don't know of (and couldn't find) any in NC but there are tons of them in GA/AL/TN. If you are interested in them, let me know & I'll be glad to send you a bunch of links to web sites for them.
