I am suprised tht no-one has brought this up yet, THE SALT LAKE CITY ROCKFEST 2003.
Or maybe no one wants to, that's why no one has mentioned it.
WELL, I'm bringing it up!
Ideas as to when, where, why?
I say northern utah gathering becasue there is one organized for the Red Rock region of the state already.
A rerun of last october's City of Rocks trip would be a good time as well.

hold it in may or june, and I'll definitely be there.
throw Logan Canyon into the itinerary as well, please. It's only two hours from City of Rocks, with enough limestone sport to drown a fish.

Is this going to be SLC 2??? Cause if it is I'm in for sure. I say we hold it in June again that was just about perfect if you ask me.

June would work great for me. Does anyone have an opinion on when in June? First of the month? end of the month? all month?
I would rather do int toward the first of the month, I have monster deadlines and stuff at the end of the month.

I think the June 6-9 would be exelent dates. Camping in LCC or BCC for a base. Ogden & Logan to the North and Lone Peak and AF to the South.

burned your harness? why? I dont boulder much. I mainly stay on multi-pitch trad routes with some sport thrown in. So if you have enough webbing to tie a swami seat and want to go on a multi-pitch let me know. PS did you throw away your belay device too? You will need one to climb with me. John

Alpine....I was just kidding about burning my harness....I did, however, hang it up in my closet quite a long time ago.....If you want to come out with a group of really cool people and chill on some boulder problems, let me know, we would be happy to have you along.....I hope you don't take any offense, as none is intended....I just don't like to climb routes.....we can still chill though.....

You couldn't be more right. It's starting to warm up down here. Tight now it feels great. High 70's low 80's but in about 4 weeks it'll 100's. A little to hot for me.

Salt Lake Gathering June 5th through the 9th!!!!
There hasn't been a ton of response but we are doing this anyway.
BCC, LCC, Logan, AF you name it we are going to climb it.
LCC has the camp grounds.
