hey ppl, I have this long boulder at our local bouldering area, it's not hard at all, it's just long, must be about 15 meters. the catch is that it's about 5 or 6 meters straight into a place where the sea slams into the rock. any suggestions to get up the nerve to pull it off and any safety suggestions? I know I can do it but I'm just afraid of falling off. Regards, D

Commit! Or try it on top rope or trad if possible. 5 meters is still 15' off the deck so it might just be possible to lead. Or you could just not do it, but that's no fun. I would say just commit or don't bother in the end. Either you feel comfortable with it or you don't, and you shouldn't risk injury if it feels uncomfortable.
