Um.... I guess im a red neck, but strohs is the only one on this list that I dont drink on a semi regular basis. Call me country if you want, but the only beer that I am not a fan of is the ones that have toooo strong of a copper or bitter taiste to them. PBR is good damn it!!!!!!

I honestly know a guy that picked up a bottle that someone had peed in and took a slug. He was told about it, then commented on how he couldn't tell the difference. He wasn't drunk, either. That bottle was a Budweiser. Seriously. Pretty bad when you drink your friend's urine out of a Bud bottle and don't notice the difference.
Hands down, and the reason Miller is sweeping Alzheimer-Bitch under the proverbial sales carpet, because Miller is better.

MGD was the beer of choice in college. I wouldn't even use someone else's monty to buy budweiser. Trust me, redhook is not budweiser. Formerly one of the better micros in Seattle. Sold out to Anheuser-Busch. Now they have nationwide distribution, a lager Seattle area brewery, and an east-coast brewery. Of course, larger batches=less quality control. They also closed the brewery in Fremont, along with the Trollyman pub.
RedHook beats Miller for me because, well, I like darker, heavier beers. Miller ain't one!
I won't tell you about your sister's reaction when she saw me w/ a can of MGD when we first met. :shock:

I'm very confused. Wildtrail. How is that you have such issues with Canadian beer. The U.S. has a proliferation of watery examples of the brewing art, only just recently, do the states have enough examples of breweries and micro breweries who have the courage to use real ingredients and create a drink with flavour. Not to mention it has taken the U.S. the last two hundred years to create a beer with the correct percentage of alcohol. If it's 4% it isn't beer.
You will probably never get the chance but my vote for the best (not worse) beer remains

wow, seeing these names makes me feel like I'm back in my 3rd Senior year in college again! Strohs, Piels, Hamms, Schlitz, Schaeffer and Genesee Cream Ale!! I drank that stuff out of poverty. Man, what you won't drink when you're poor and want a buzz. How about Golden Anniversary, Black Label, Goebels, Sierra (not sierra nevada, just sierra), American. I'm sure none of these names are familiar since I think they only exist in the backwards ass town I went to school in. Central PA for life!
If Miller is so great, then why, oh why did they discontinue Meister Brau!? My fraternity had to switch to Natty light to go on. It was a hard move, let me tell you. I'd have to say that my vote goes to Natural Ice, I swear it tastes like peanuts! blaaaah. MGD or Monkey Goat Dick as we like to call it is just plain horrible too.
