dose anyone have any expereince or know any good elbow braces or straps that help with 'tennis elbow" type pains? i've read as much as a could about it and it seem like everyone, even doctors and sports physicians have different opinions about recovery and prevention. at this point i'm taking a break from climbing so it doesn't get horrible, but was just wondering if there was some sort of device that helps.

i have been using elbow straps for the last four years because i get rather acute tendonitis in elbows up all the way through my biceps. they are really effective in controlling the tendonitis, but that said I always take advil before i climb as the straps alone are not sufficient. i also highly suggest the folowing methods which have helped me keep the tendonitis in check. -THOROUGHLY WARMUP UP AND WARMDOWN. that means a bit of traverssing and relaxed, slow moving `wall meandering` for about 10 minutes before and after my sessions as well as lots of arm shoulder and forearm stretching. -NO CAMPUS BOARDS -AND THE BEST and NOT SO COMMON THING IS DO pushups at the end of your session, using the antagonist pushing muscles seems to relieve a lot of pressure in your elbows---almost immediately...i do about 100...but i like pushups
