Well you could do what I did before I lost my job - go down to MEC and buy two of everything. :D
I agree with you on the tricams especially pink and red. Nuts are cheap so a second set sounds good. More hexes if you climb where there are bears.
And if you ever come into some money then go all the way with Aliens (blue, green, yellow), TCUs (1 to 4), Camalots (.5 to 4) and Friends (all sizes).

MORE SLINGS.....

And, I don't know what's your biner count, but there's always room for spare biners (at least 6)......the more, the merrier. also, some lockers (at least 3).

Diego

I'll "ditto" that!

More Slings/Runners! Shoulder length and doubles.
And lockers are always a good bet.

And lastly, double up again on the 3 or 4 largest sized stoppers.

Slings and runners are always good, as are biners. I've never really used hexes, but the big sizes can be handy(I've heard). Tricams are okay for horizontal placements, since you can slide them in by the webbing(for horizontal placements), tug and usually get a good placement. And they're easy to inspect. But the bigger sizes are not recommended by me, since they tend to be unstable in vertical camming mode and are a bitch to place one-handed vertically. :? Horizontal isn't so bad, but for the big stuff I would go with cams and a hex or two. Here's my rack for ref.:
6-8 free biners
4 slings, 2 dbl. w/biners attached
4 quickdraws
1.5 sets of nuts (double in mid sz)
set of .75-2 tricam
1-4 trango 3cam
5-10 Metolius pwr cam
#11 hex (for luck) :D :D

Thanks for the info.

I have 7 quickdraws, shes has 6. we have 8 loose biners and 10 lockers...so i think we have enough lockers for sure.

How many shoulder slings do you recomend???

I don't know what the rock is like where you climb but I find the .75 green camalot is a really good piece. 2 smallest tricams are also a good bet.

i like to have at least 6 slings total (24") and 1 biner per sling (for cams). i usually use draws on stoppers and such. although, depending...

i carry entirely too much gear. enough to make you go "you spent how much on gear?"

get a few more loose biners, some slings and possibly a couple cams to fill in the gap b/w your #.4 and your #1.

i would have to agree on the Aliens. in my opinion the best small cams you can get. strong, good range, narrow and they dont walk as easy. i highly reccomend them.

#2 camalot

green and yellow aliens (pricey, though...)

maybe some mid-size hexes

those are the pieces I'd miss most if I led on your rack. of course you may be climbing on fractured limestone or some kind of basalt or something I'm totally unfamiliar with so who knows what's best.

ps. cute signature :-)
