For all of you climbers in the southeast, here are some upcoming dates to remember March 15th ---- T-Wall trail day. March 22nd --- Sandrock Hoe Down and Clean Up (no comp this year) April 26th --- Foster Falls Climbfest (details to be announced) In the planning are a trail day for Boat Rock sometime in May and the return of the Boat Rock Benefit Dinner in mid July. Last year's Boat Rock Dinner at club 1150 with Ed Webster as the guest speaker cleared $9,000 in raised donations. Hopefully this year's dinner will be more event filled and better then last years. For more information, periodically visit www.seclimbers.org . If you are interested in helping out with any of these events, feel free to e-mail me at gt0030b@mail.gatech.edu . Both Peter Croft and Jeff Lowe will be giving slide shows at climbfest. Kurt Smith will also be there to play some tunes. It sounds like there are some activities planned for Friday evening as well. Some more dates to remember Rocktown Trail Day - May 3rd 10:00 to 3:00. There will be refreshments for lunch break but bring your favorite foodstuff and water for the day. Children under the age of 10 are welcome but will need to be under parental supervision. Our good and generous Friends of Rocktown are donating goodie bags for the volunteers and prizes for the raffles. This year there will be two drawings: one for the Southeastern Climbers Coalition with the donations going back to Rocktown Improvements and Maintenance Fund; second for The Access Fund with the request that donations be given to the SE area such as Boatrock, Yonah Mountain, and Sand rock. Drawings will be at the end of the day, when the work tasks are completed. if you want to volunteer, call 404-237-4021 or 1-888-31_CLIMB or email: info@thechallengerock.com Boatrock Trail Day - May 10th cleanup from 9:00 to 1:00 then do some cranking!! Obed Trail Day - May 17th many user groups will be joining forces in national river clean-up day. lunch will be provided and a climber party will ensue at Del and Marty's Lillypad. more details to follow on the SCC website. King's Bluff Dedication Day - Clarksville, TN, May 31st didnt know there were 200 limestone routes 45 minutes north of nashville? well, come out and join us for a huge cookout and live music at the scc's very own crag. we are having a party to honor the generous people who donated this urban crag to the scc for preservation. brought to you by the nashville and clarksville branches of the scc. For more information visit www.seclimbers.org L.J.

Are you sure about that Kings Bluff date? Their site says May 24th. Also, anyone travelling near the Evansville, Indiana area on their way to this Kings Bluff event interested in a passenger/climbing partner? I'm also planning to check out the Foster Falls event if anyone wants to partner up for that as well.
