I am new to the DFW area from WA state and looking for climbing partners. I am an experienced trad leader and alpinist. Primarily interested in climbing trad lines at Enchanted Rock and the Wichitas on the weekends. I have a complete trad rack, ropes, etc. Currently have this Thursday-Sunday open for climbing if anybody wants to head to the Wichitas or E-Rock for any of these days. I will to climb with less experienced climbers who are motivated to learn and climb.

climbersam, everyone will be at the Quartz Mountain Spring Fling the first weekend in April. If you have never been, check it out. It is 20 miles north of Altus, Ok.

In reply to: In reply to: Do you send IPS v4+ ? Only when I am very bored I think you misunderstand the gravity of the question asked. Have fun with the Oklahomos...

Just how low will you go? Not counting trad outings in Colorado with dad in the late 70's, I've only been climbing for 6 months (bouldering at Red Bluff & sport at Reimer's). But I am definitely committed & teachable. I can even provide a reference to back that much. Anyone else feel like teaching an old dog new tricks?

Moving to Dallas from Austin. Definitely not happy about it, but the job is too good to pass up. I'll definitely be looking for some weekend trips. Climbed a few times at E-Rock. Never been to the Witchitas. I'm pretty new as well. A little over six months. The first two strictly in a gym. :sigh: Looks like I will be going back to being the queen of plastic.
